BGC Contracting has a long history in term maintenance contracts for Main Roads WA, providing civil works on some of Western Australian major regional road arteries.

Work was scheduled based on intervention levels and carried out in line with specified response timeframes. Routine maintenance was performed by the Maintenance Work Crews who travelled the network on a cyclic basis. Periodic, planned and rehabilitation works were generally completed by specific work crews formed on a project by project basis. Emergency response services were provided 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

The term network contract has been recognised by both Main Roads WA and other stakeholders that BGC has improved the condition of the road network since the commencement of the contract. This performance is also recognised through the annual KPI results achieved.

Apart from this contract, the Great Northern Highway Project, the Northam Bypass Project, Term Asset Contract No. 1 and Term Network contracts No. 1  and No. 2 are further demonstrations of successful scopes of work that BGC Contracting have been awarded with Main Roads WA.
