Chief Executive Officer Greg Heylen
Greg was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2011, after joining BGC Contracting over 14 years ago. With more than 33 years’ experience in the mining and construction industry, he has held a number of senior positions within BGC Contracting, including Construction Manager and General Manager for the Civil Business Unit. His overall experience includes the management of operations in civil, mining and multi-discipline contracting.
Charged with the responsibility of strategic planning, growth, overall performance and profitability of BGC Contracting, Greg is committed to exceeding client expectations. He places a strong emphasis on leadership, safety, open communication, teamwork and client relationships.
Greg is also on the Executive Council of the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia and Chair of the Occupational Safety and Health Standing Committee.
